Collection Pick-up Point
We offer a fast and easy solution for customers who wish to collect their climbing frame from our pick-up depot near Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Customs: Our products are shipped from the UK. We offer two service options for customer collections. You can choose either a ‘taxes/duty paid’ service (meaning we will complete the customs process, plus pay import duty and taxes on your behalf), or you can choose to do your own customs clearance, and pay the taxes and duty yourself before you collect.
We offer collection because this is the most cost effective way to distribute our products. The boxes are quite bulky, so direct home delivery is more expensive and slightly slower. We found it is most cost effective for us to send to your local pick-up point, and for you to collect from there and take the item home to build.
It normally takes about 20-30 days for your item to arrive at the pick-up depot. Once you order is complete we will pick, pack and dispatch your order from our distribution centre to your local pick-up depot. Once the stock has arrived and been checked by the depot, they will contact you directly to confirm your playset is ready for collection. You’ll be able to arrange a convenient day/time with the depot directly. Please ensure you provide a valid contact number when you order.
How to Collect
Ideally you’ll need a van, pickup or MPV for collecting your wooden climbing frame from the local pick-up point.
Our climbing frames normally consist of between 2 and 7 boxes, which range from 50cm to 230cm in length, and are approximately 40-80cm wide and 15-20cm high. The boxes vary in weight from 20-80kg.
Where to Collect From
Our pick-up points are currently located at warehouses near Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town. The depot is within easy reach of the majority of the population, so it’s easy and cost effective to collect when convenient, and take home to complete the build.
If this is not convenient for you then please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your requirements.
Once you have your climbing frame, you can begin the installation. Our products are designed for easy home-build, and come with a manual (in English) which is illustrated to clearly show the step-by-step process.
All the wood is pre-drilled, pre-cut and pre-stained, the roof and wall panels are pre-assembled and the hardware is separated into bags to make things as easy as possible. Remeber our playsets are large structures, but it’ll be worth the time invested as your children will get many years of fun and enjoyment.
All you’ll need is an electric screwdriver and some basic DIY tools to be able to build any of our play equipment. Most sets are able to be constructed in 1-2 days. Most people build them over a weekend.
